The short version
We collect only what an account needs to work — your name, email, and a user ID from Apple or Google sign-in — plus saved jobs you choose to store in your Tally Book and subscription status needed to unlock Pro access. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or used for tracking.
What we collect and why
- Account details — when you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier. These exist solely so you have an account.
- Saved jobs (Tally Book) — job designs you choose to save are stored against your account so they sync across your devices. Job inputs and results stay on your device unless you save them.
- Subscription status — purchases are processed entirely by Apple (or Google). We receive only your subscription entitlement status via RevenueCat, our subscription manager, keyed to your user ID. We never see payment details.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps or websites.
- No selling your data or sharing it for advertising.
- No access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.
Where your data lives
Account records and saved jobs are stored with Convex (convex.dev), our database provider, in the United States. Subscription status is processed by RevenueCat (revenuecat.com). Both act only on our instructions.
Data deletion
Deleting a Tally Book entry removes it from your account permanently. To delete your entire account and all associated data, open Settings in the app and choose "Delete your account." The app deletes your account record and synced Tally Book jobs immediately, then signs you out. You can also contact us at the address below if you need help. Deleting the app removes locally stored data from that device.
Engineering disclaimer
Calculated volumes, pressures, and schedules are field estimates. Verify final numbers and regulatory requirements before pumping.
